Anyone have TOYO Versado Eco tires ??

HELP!!!Howdy folks...my first post here! I have a 2008 SS turbocharged and needed tires at 68,000 kilometers (42,000 miles), and the dealership couldn't find the all season michelins that were on there the last two winters and put on 4 BF Goodrich g-force com-2's 225/45/18's, and I had no traction on ice, hard-packed snow, and got stuck over and over again in only 2 inches of snow. I'm in the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, area, and my size is very difficult to find this month. Now they want to exchange them and put on all season TOYO VERSADO ECO tires (same size) and I can't find any winter reviews on them on the net. Actually, hours of searching has only produced 3 reviews on them on dry roads. I refused to pay for them and am using a loaner now. What kind of wear should I expect, and will I finally get my HHR out of my driveway with TOYOS?? I bought this 1.5 years ago used and usually drive 3,000 kms (1860 miles) per month, about 90% highway.
HELP!!

I think these come standard on the Toyota Prius V if that tells you anything. I believe they are a low rolling resistance tire; probably not what you are looking for in an all season performance tire. Good luck and welcome to the site.

I would have to read up but generally any tire with Eco or Green in the name is a clue like stated for low rolling resistance. Most are hard as rocks and have little grip.

I ran Goodyear Eagle GT's on the wife GTP for two winters and they ran through anything. Good in dry, wet and snow. They are easy to find and not priced as bad as many others.

I just put a set on the SS before I put my winter tires on and they drove much better in the weather than the Pilots. I hated the OE pilots as anything on the road would make them lose tractions.

I use a set of Goodyear triple treads in the winter on steel wheels just to protect the good wheels for summer.
