Another Question on 06 HHR 16" wheels

Has any one bought wheels from Wheels Tires and More?? they list a 16" wheel brand name Compatible, part number ALY05247U20N. I e-mailed them today, they quote $110 each, free shipping. They claimed they are exactly the same as orginial. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

I've seen those. Some of the auto parts stores like Autozone sell them. They are a spot-on replica from what I could tell. I almost bought one to replace one of ours that was scratched until I found and original one on Craigslist in good shape.

Autozone had actually special ordered one for me and I found the Craigslist wheel before it came in. I convinced them to cancel the order and return my money which they did reluctantly since it hadn't yet been shipped. Normally, according to the clerk, they don't give refunds on special orders. I never did actually see it; only the picture in their catalog. As I recall, their price was about 240 bucks so if you can get them for 110 each, and it's the same wheel, I would.

Check your local salvage yards, many of them sell new wheels. I know LKQ does that is a national used parts supplier. Are you looking for the holies or the 5-spoke? The holies are pretty much available at almost any wheel supplier. BTW $100 seems high, figure $20 shipping.

Another Question on 06HHr Wheels

Donbrew,
I checked with LKQ and they want $120-$140 each for the orginial wheels not black. So I guess $110 isn't bad for new orginial type 16" wheels, always can sell my 17" wheels

I am looking for a set of wheels as well.. Ill check them out. Our Maine winter highly salted roads eat up good chrome wheels :). Good to see another Mainer in here :)
