Cheap fix...

Hey guys just wanted your opinions on my cheap fix on my wheels because I just cant decide on which rims to go with so I think this will tide me over till I find some actual rims that I like...

If done right, they can look good. IMO I would not "ruin" stock rims as they can be sold to people who messed up their old ones and need replacement. Like my wife who curbed a rim bad when she just got the car and everytime I detail, I get to look at a chewed up lip.

I just went to the local auto paint shop and picked up a can of black trim paint - it was a little thick to spray but it came out pretty good - my taping job was atrocious so I will probably do another coat when the weather clears up. Your hhr looks sweet!

thanks. i'm thinking of having the body shop redo them in factory paint since i'm getting tiny pin spots chipping. i figure the pro job might be more durable. i dunno

IMO, I would just keep touching them up every so often. Be much cheaper probably. Besides, look at the hood. Chips real easily, and that's factory paint....

Powder Coat 'em

PC them & be done with it.. Just don't allow 'em to PC the flange or mounting face..
