Cobalt Rims with SS springs

Anybody have pictures of Cobalt SS rims on and HHR with SS springs. I just purchased a set of wheels but was curious as to how much of a gap the wheel would have these rims.

Rim size has nothing to do with the gap. If the overall tire diameter, a.k.a. height of tire, is the same/similar to whatever as already on the car then the gap will remain the same. 215/55/16's vs 225/30/20's are almost the exact same diameter and end up with the same size gap for example. This is because both tires have a diameter of roughly 25.5". If you use an 18" tire that is 26.1" diameter then it will have a tiny tiny bit less gap but it will be hardly noticeable as it amounts to only 1/4" less gap.

FWIW the pic in my sig is my car with SS springs and 20" tires in the size listed above.

Gotcha, what I'm trying to find out is the gap based on having the Cobalt 18 inch wheels with HHR SS springs. I know with stock it has a big gap, with Elbach's it sits real nice and low. I'd like to see what something in between looks like since I recently purchased the wheels and I'm trying to figure out what springs I want. I know the tire size also makes a difference too

Here's 2 pics that you may be able to get some ideas from. Both pics are with stock 18" SS rims and 225/45's.
I know it's not Cobalt rims, but it can give you some perception about the wheel well gap.

This one shows the rear dropped 1.5". The front at stock height.

This one is with front and rear both dropped 1.5".

I have 17" Cobalt SS rims with Cobalt SS rear springs which may give you an idea on the stance. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I hope you like the 2nd one better. The 1st picture was when I did the rear springs but hadn't done the fronts yet. Lazy me didn't get around to installing the front springs till a couple weeks later.

Fwiw. Those are Pedders springs my car is on in the pictures.
