Correct TPMS for an SS

I need a sensor and from my research I came up with a GM p/n 20925924. When I use this for a 2010 SS at GM Parts Direct it comes up as a unknown part but when I use a 2010 Cobalt SS it's a good number. Any input with this?
Thanks

I think it depends on your valve stem; metal or rubber.

315 mhz is the important part, if it has the right mounting.

The one in my hand is for rubber stems it is 25920615.

The book that NAPA uses insists that ALL HHRs have the metal stem. They are more expensive because the stem is part of the sensor, then there are covers, gaskets, nuts and caps.

They should be interchangeable.

Thanks Don
The one I need is with the metal stem.
Are you saying the 2010 SS is 315Mhz?
I did find a sensor with 433Mhz also.

I found this

CHEVROLET HHR(SS) TPMS sensor | Siemens VDO 15921013 | TPMSDirect

And this confirmed the MHz

Then there's this chart, rubber stems for steel wheels, metal stems for aluminum rims.

I may be wrong; but I am fairly sure all are 315 MHz, I think C5 used 433 MHz, but C6 is 315 MHz.

I think you got it right in post #1, Cat Man. These others may work just fine, too.
WholesaleGMpartsonline says you're right, 20925924. 315 MHz.

This list doesn't show 20925924 for an HHR

Tire Pressure Sensor | Genuine GM | 20925924 : GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts

In this list it just shows HHR

Ah, the fun and confusing interwebs gotta love'm

These guys have this for the aluminum rimed HHR's 315 MHz

One thing I've determined, change all four! The batteries tend to die off within months of each other. My niece just went thru this mumbo jumbo just after New Years, three trips to the tire shop, three different brands of TPMS sensors , a long time explaining to her, she didn't save any time or money, by waiting for one at a time, two went dead just after she ordered the second one!

What really gets me as the HHR is in the land of OZ at times when you want parts.
Mr Blue came up with the list that I saw also in my research and said to myself "self, if it's for Cobalt SS, it's for a HHR SS" being they're both the same car with a different skin.
Don and Mr Blue both cleared up the frequency number for the sensor.
I only want one. When I bought the SS in 2014 it had 20K on it and was GM certified from a Chevy dealer. From the day I got it one sensor would malfunction and stupid me I didn't take it to a dealer for them to replace it. My loss, so now it's my problem.

Last fall, Discount Tire put a VDO 7001HPA in mine, works fine, looks identical to the others from the outside. They may have reused my stem, I have no idea. They were already putting new tires on, they charged $60 .
