Date code on TPMS sensor

I tried using Google and can't find an answer to this.
On each new sensor I bought are two circles, one big and one small with arrows pointing to numbers.
Both dials go from 1 to 12.
I can read the numbers:
Big Small
7 5
7 5
7 5
6 5

I'm guessing this is the date code for each sensor.
Has anybody found information about this ?

Hmm.
Large circle 7=2007
Large circle 6=2006
Small circle 5= (5th month, May)

Just guessing but hope I'm wrong. Since these are "new" sensors, let's hope they weren't sitting on a shelf for a long time.
I tried the Google search too. Lot of conflicting info on how to date a TPMS sensor. Wonder why the manufacturer can't just put a normal numerical date on them ?

If it’s by decade , would that be 2017 , May or 2016, May?
I’ll have a look at my new ones.

I would think the large 7 to be 2017 ect.
small 5 would be the month.

Found your link to your sensors.
The info on them are the same as mine.
Mine has a star on them where yours has a square.
Here's mine

Those are casting codes. They may or may not have anything to do with date. Usually they mean die number, run number, day number, year number etc. not exactly date.

I tried earlier today to contact the major manufacturers of sensors.
I got tried of put on hold.
Will try later or tomorrow.

Don
I saw those types of markings on cylinder heads and blocks at times when I worked.
But never knew exactly what it represented.

Probably the same manufacturer in China.

A GM part number so maybe they manufacture for GM , not sure but hey they were cheap and so long as they work , great. Did you check the home methods of breaking the tire bead to replace the TMPS sensor, I liked the guy with the two pieces of lumber.

Looks like you can change the battery a bit easier.
You seemed to know what they meant back in 2017. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/tire...de-tpms-58831/
