Does anyone have input for a great summer tire?

Im currently looking at the Continental ExtremeContact DW's http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....S&autoModClar=

They seem like a fun summer tire that won't break the bank for all four corners. Just incase anyone is wondering, Im still planning on also keeping my OEM rubber as well, so that I have somthing to use when it gets colder again.

General Exclaim UHP, is what I'm using after doing a lot of research between price to performance cost (I almost bought the tires you were looking at, but there were a lot more reviews for the Generals then the new Continental DW's). These are rated as a high performance summer only tire on tire rack but they actually have light snow traction stamped on the wall of the tire

I have the Conti DWS. They did great this winter and the summer and wet traction is great too. Then I blew one out and am still waiting for my size to go off of back order so I can get a replacement.

I don't know how the handle with a bit more power, but I really like them. I have been able to keep up freeway speeds in complete downpours too.

Only problem has been the blowout, and that was from an damaged sewer drain and blunt force

They look a lot like the stock michelin tire. Are they cheaper?

I put on a set of the new Goodyear Eagle GT's about 4K miles ago. I have no complaints with them.

I just put on a set on Dunlop SP Sport 2000. 235/45 - 17. No complaints. Summer only tire.

They're A/S tires, even though tire rack insists they are no good in snow. I have used mine in decent amounts of snow without issue. They aren't great in snow, but they get the job done. They are as good or better than the stockers in dry, and great in wet weather.

I'm running 20' Eagle GTs just for the summer and impressed with ride and handling. Did some highway trips in heavy rains and they performed well. $109.00 each shipped from on line vendor. The mounting, balancing and new TPS sensors are what got me.. about 280 bucks!
