I ended up buying General Tire G-MAX, should have em in a week or so.

FYI - I have the General Tire Altimax Artic winter tires, and they are delightful, if these tires are anything close to how they ride, i'll be very happy for the price I paid.

So how are the General G-max working out for you, C-DUB? Did you end up getting 245/40?
