Looking for retro wheels for your HHR? Look what I found...
I talked to them at 'BACK TO THE 50's (annual car show) and they don't carry any wheels for the HHR. I don't know why Wheel Vintiques doesn't make the HHR wheel in a 15x7 when they do for the pt cruiser.
Barry-
They look good....(Hopefully) you will have no problems with them..
Should NOT getting a smooth ride occur, put a 'dial indicator' on the rim lips to check run-out.. American Racing considers their 'smoothies' not more the .035 an acceptable rim.. (I know these are not AM rims, but same deal)..
I bought a set, long ago after having the re-balanced about 3 times, I finally put my dial indicator on..3 of the 4 had +.038 - + .044 run-out..

The wheels I purchased are for the HHR...16" though; couldn't find a 17" Rallye anywhere with the 5-110 Bolt Pattern. I don't think there is a 15X7 either...
FWIW:
Here's a shot of a magnetic base dial indicator. On steel hoop rims they tend to have a bit more 'run-out' than a cast rim since a cast rim is finished by machining it.
I generally lay a piece of steel by the (off the ground wheel) & set the mag base on the steel, & place the indicator tip on the rim edge & zero out the gage, then slowly rotate the rim to see how much 'run-out' it has..This is measured in thousandths..
With this both Radial & Lateral 'run-out' can be checked..
This is only something to do if you are experiencing balance problems..
