Looking for rims for the HHR....Help....
Looking for rims for the HHR....Help....
So I know the bolt pattern I need is 5x100... But the thing is when searching to buy some there is not a big selection at all? Every time I check the rim I want it like 5x114.. Or 5x115 or Something like especially 5x114.. Can anyone let me know if I can use a different bolt pattern like that but with maybe spacer and if so what tires size to look for.. Looking to get 18s or 20s but with the 5x100 bolt pattern there's not a big selection.. For example I see great deals on craigslist but they are all on 5x114 someone help with info .. Thanks
If you still want to try the 20" route your choices are going to be slim to none. The HHR uses the smaller bolt pattern(5x110) because that's pretty much what it is, A small economy car. These cars, and others with this bolt pattern, use 15",16,"17", and sometimes 18" rims. They aren't made to just "throw some 20's" on there.
You're most likely gonna have to use an adapter(not spacer) or a multi fit/drilled rim. Then the tire sidewall will be so small it's gonna be one rough riding car. Remember, that 26" tire height is about as big as will fit on an HHR.
My suggestion is to look for some 18"s. A lot more choices of rims and options on tires too.

I just went to 20's and when searching there were lots and lots of options. Go to Performanceplustire.com and build the car then search for 20's. There are several pages worth of options. 28 alone that are around $1200 with tires.
Here is the link to the 20's avail for our car on their site. 261 options in all. I have seen other options that are not even carried at this site. Don't mind the length of the link. It does work it is just real long.
