Lug nuts

Looked online for an answer to my probably silly question, but didn't find one.
Will aftermarket lug nuts from an 06 fit an 07?

That would depend, are they on aftermarket wheels? Here is a thread about stock lug nuts.

i typed in "lug nuts" into the thread search, but came up bupkiss

All the HHRs' used the same thread pitch & length. 12mm x 1.5

But if they are aftermarket wheels and lug nuts, the mating surface might not be right.

RJ has a valid point, stock rims & lugs use a 60* taper.
