Need 18" Wheels to clear the new Brembo Brakes!!!

I cannot find a good looking aftermarket wheel that will clear the Brembo brake upgrade. I had American Racing Torque Thrust M in a 17" but its not even close. Need a 18x8.5" 35mm offset. Any ideas? Trying to keep the Hot Rod look vs Euro.

These will require drilling your brake discs, but you’ll have a better selection of wheels

I have found a good selection at TireRack dot com.

You shop by car model, then specify HHR SS, and then be sure to specify "performance package."

That should filter for only wheels that fit the Brembos. I think they'll only show you 18" & 19", no 17", although I betcha 17 there are 17's that fit, as the issue is usually clearance with the spokes, not the rim.

If you find 18's you like that fit, there's a good chance the otherwise identical 17's will, too. You could then contact the manufacturer directly, and only order if they garantee they fit.

I found the 5 x 110 mm bolt circle is the hold back. So many choices ! But not many options due to the offset , could call Foose see what they can whip up for you!

Some have found that spacers work. I thought he offset was 39-43mm? https://www.wheel-size.com/size/chevrolet/hhr/2008/

Is this aftermarket Brembo parts, or parts from an SS factory equipped Brembo setup? I don't know if we should assume that wheels that fit the factory equipped will also fit over an aftermarket setup.

Good idea! Maybe they could drill a set at 110mm even tho they don’t stock them. Got a number for Foose? I could only reach a dealer. I would love to replace my black chrome Legends, but discontinued long ago. They seem to still sell chrome Legends.

The pictured 17” wheels do not clear factory Brembos.

Checked that out. Fun visit. Seems to be all merch, shirts and hats and such, for Chip Foose fans.

Found this site where they list quite a few wheels. Nothing for HHR/Cobalt specifically, but it seems some of the more expensive forged wheels are blanks that can be drilled in bored to order.
