NEED Opinions. Wheel Comparison

Can't decide which looks better. the stock gray or the ****ty black photoshop.
i'm itching to take a spray can to them. I also have some Bulldog Plastic Adhesion promoter to put as a base.

i really think if you paint them well the black rims would look awesome on your car espessially with your grill being black

I think remove hubcaps, paint the steelies black, add trim rings & chrome lug nuts.

trim rings? the wheels are the black five spoke but there's a rust colored hub in the center

I don't really care for the painted hubcaps...but I think them being silver stands out since you have the black grille. I would paint the wheels black and clean them up a bit, and leave them with no hubcaps....

Oh, and in my opinion, I think you should take the GM Chiclet off...it contrasts too much against all of the black.

Oh, ok they just looked like the dull silver plastic hubcaps.Especially after you mentioned Bulldog Plastic Adhesion promoter

How about having them polished & then clear-coated, then while they are off clean & paint the calipers & brake drums..

they do have plastic covers. just, instead of the wheels underneath with all the little holes, they are a 5 spoke black wheel with a silver plastic wheel cover. so, they look like solid rims from the outside. it's just hard to describe via text i guess

Yeah, I think that's the same as my mom's G6 has... jeffs396 has those for his HHR, and it looks really good! Just paint them black so they shine and that'd be great in my opinion!

I know what you're talking about. I say go for it. I was thinking about doing it but I have the black steel rims with the little holes.
