Only reason I wouldn't get 18's, is because of potholes. But I live in the pothole kingdom, and I'm assuming where you live it isn't quite as much of a problem as it is for me.

How much are the MB wheels?

Enkie makes a killer wheel called the LS-5 in black that I LOVE I have the solstice wheels so I don't need. Tirerack has them for $146.00 for the 18"

The MB wheels run $75 a piece for the 16's and $156 for the 18's but I think I've changed my mind on them after reading some reviews of them warping and the black finish flaking off after a few years. I really like those Enkie wheels but I wish they had a chrome lip

Wheels

Hi:

I bought the exact same wheel in a 16" and they look great. 17--18---matter of taste. I see nothing wrong with th 16" look!

I paid $425 tatla fo 4 16" wheels including shipping and no tax.

I was worried about potholes also. But, you kinda learn to watch the road more and so far, no issues. I will jump up to a 225/45 on the next tires though.

We don't have many(and I use that term loosely) pot holes around here. But we do have an abundance of spots where pot holes were filled in and they did a sub-par job leveling the asphault. So I guess we have a lot of "pot bumps"? But I've learned where they are for the most part and the smoothest route around town because of it.

I have had three different styles of the MB brand from DISCOUNT TIRES and never had any problems. I have always stored them in the winter to keep the salt off them.I feel they are a good value for the money, just my opinion.

mb

I worked for discount tires that sold the MB wheels for 9 years and never had one come back for any problems. I like the wheel and considered it till I saw another orange HHr in town with them.

splurge and Go with the 18's on a 225/40/18. kuhmo has a couple wheels in that size under 100 bucks. I'm on the ecsta ast's and for the money they're pretty good.
