Thumbs up Ordered Some Tires!

Well my dad just ordered a set of tires for me! Got of course 215/50r17 Uniroyal Tiger Paws. Total was $529 out the door. Tread looks good, has good reviews, and best of all, has a normal looking tread pattern! (I hate those goofy looking ones, no matter how good they are!)

They should be in by Wednesday, but I work so I might not get them until Thursday or Friday. I'll let you know how they are!

Let me rephrase this... He picked out tires for me, had them ordered, and then I will pick them up and then I WILL PAY FOR THEM on Thursday or Friday!

I wish he would have paid for them! But I guess it's about time I buy tires... It's been 5 years, 3 cars, and I've never once had to buy any.

Let us know how they perform!

I just put Tiger Paw Touring Tires on my wifes 05 Cobalt Sedan stock aluminums at BJs Warehouse Club. They are only 15 inch wheels but performed great in our last snow and all the rain we just had. Wife is very happy-no road noise, supposed 80,000 mile tire (might be for her, only drives about 4,000 miles a year), and cost $64 each & included road hazzard, rotation every 4,500 miles, valves, disposal, etc. Then saved $40 off the price with their coupon. (Always wait for the tire coupons!)

Great Tires for everyday drivers. Had large 225 70/15s Tiger Paw Touring Whitewalls on my Delta 88 and even after 3 years they still had most of the tread left. They were just $78 per at the same place. Did the same with the $40 coupon. Every 6 months the put the coupons out-they just rotate the tire companies.

Eric-

I think you will be happier with the 50, instead of the 45 % aspect ratio

Little more sidewall cushion..

I've had several sets of Tigerpaws on various cars in the past.
The last set did last 82,000 miles on the wife's minivan.

Well, got the tires put on the rims today, they look good! I don't have my HHR today, it's at the dealer, so I didn't get to put them on. Will do that tomorrow. I have a little drive Saturday, should be great to see how they do! Not sure if I want it to rain or not. Car will get dirty, but I can test my tires!
