Painted grooves on rim

Met up with Jason (saxrocks2009) yesterday and he did a great job tieing in the body color in his wheels

Thanks. And if anyone has any ideas of paint to use that will stick to the chrome without needing to scuff the chrome. and if It were done in black it would kind of look like an SS wheel.

Use 3M stripe tape. You can buy it in widths up to 3" wide. It holds up just great, after all that's what is used to stripe sides of cars.

I also thought about talking to my vinyl lady who did my decal on the side and see if she can come up with little srtips of vinyl that would fit that groove perfectly

Wow!!! I'ma have to find something in a blue/purple for mine (mine is blue with the purple flakes so it makes it seem purple as well)!

Ill let you know if I find anything good that will stick without roughing up the surface of the wheel.

As far a a great paint to use, you might look into One-Shot. We use it in the sign business. It's a great paint that goes on heavy and clean with a nice artist's brush. You can buy it in 1/2 pints. Has a nice gloss to it and I think it would adhere nicely if you preped it with alcohol first.
