Specs on the stock chrome17 inch LT wheels

Hey I am looking for the specs on the 2006 LT 17 inch wheel specs. I am looking to get wider and taller tires. I understand the strut tower is close but I am a risk taker and I understand what can be squeezed in. Does anyone know the rim width?

Mine has 235/45/R17 and no issues. Probably you could go to 245/45/R17

225/50/17 wider & taller.

245 is pushing it on a 6.5" wide rim.

Yes.... 225's fit fine. That's what I have for my winter set on the factory wheels.

Will a 225/55/17 fit on my ls with cobalt rims? No rubbing issues or anything like that?

NUX-FAN-

225/55/17 is Too tall, that's about 26.74" tall http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos

26" tall is about the limit to clear the strut plate.. Depending on tire profile & brand.

225/50/17 will work.
