how much do they cost new?

and how much are we looking at to get the re-finished or buffed to get out scratches and curb rash?

gmparts direct shows them at $407 each. List for over $600.

 

found a set locally and they want $500 but has many scratches and curb rash..i dont think its worth 500 so im gona shoot a lower offer but want to know how much fixing them up would be..i would think it would be more expensive since they are chromed

 

Refinishing locally is 100-150 per wheel. Or you can spend 50 total to paint them yourself, but be prepared for regular touchups.

 

the ss rims are chrome correct? or are they just highly polished?
if they are chrome..can you repair curb rash on chrome?

 

Polished aluminum and clearcoated. Not chrome plated.

Check on e-bay.....got wheels and tires for 1,000....wheels in excellent shape........southern comfort.

 

Call Wheel Wizards in Hamilton, Skyline26, they did a great job cleaning up and buffing out my Boyd's and a set of Z 28 rims a few years back
