Steel wheel for 17 in spare

Anyone know where I can get a basic steel wheel to mount a 215 50 17 spare tire for my 2006 LT?

Chevy did not offer a 17 inch steel rim for the HHR - only 16 inch steel and that was on the LS model. You might be luck yo find an aftermarket, but the HHR has an oddball bolt pattern (5x110). Best chance would be a 16 inch steel with a 205/60-16 tire.

Spare tire

Of course, you already knew that you can't fit any size full service spare tire in the wheel well, right?

Maybe he could somehow mount it on the back to the side like the jeeps do.

rim for 17 inch tire

Thanks for the response. I figured that a 17 in. was unavailable. Try for a used factory rim or take a trip to the junkyard. Maybe I could mount it on my noisey steering column LOL

some one with an ss bought an extra wheel after they curbed theirs and used the bad one as a spare. As far as know he kept it in the spare tire area.

Won't fit.... he must have just kept it in the back. The well won't fit anything but the 15" hide-a-spair.

spare tire

I blew my right front tire, had the HHR towed 77 miles then put on the spare drove 3 miles to get a new tire, thats about as far as I would drive on that tiny spare anymore than that not safe.
