Stock tires need to replaced need suggestions

I have a brand new 2010 hhr lt. It just started to snow here in ol michigan and im sliding everywhere! I am even thinkin about going back to my old trusty '99 monte carlo cause she never slips. Until then I need suggestions on what new tires to get put on the HHR?? Those firestone tires have to go.

It´s good to know that you´re going to rid these crapstone. I would suggest you Toyo Proxes 4 (for dry weather). For snow, I don´t know. About 20 years ago that here in Monterrey didn´t snow.

I bought a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks for my 09 LS last year. They really make a difference. We have had them for the last 6 years on our Fieros and they are incredible in the snow. They wear quickly when it is dry so they are only on from thanksgiving til around easter.

I Been running Goodyear TripleTread tires. They work very well in snow and rain. I have about 30,000 miles on them and they look to be about 50% on ware so I'm happy.

Go here: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/home.do

Punch in the data on your car.

Check out the high rated tires.

Read the reviews from people in our area.

You will then be ready to make an informed decision.

+1 for the DWS , I just got a set after running a few sets of Kumho ASX's and they're fantastic. The Kumhos feel like plastic in comparison and have pretty much no wet traction. The DWS is nice and quiet and grippy in the dry and still nice and grippy in the wet, can't vouch for snow yet but loving them so far
