What is the largest tire your guys have been able to clear on your SS? I have heard that 245/45s dont fit but have seen 235/45s listed in some ppls specs. Anyone run a 265/40 or 255/40? I know 245/40 fits but I'm really wondering.

Also how about anyone with 17x7s on their HHR? I am looking at some 255/45s and 235/50s for 17x7 cobalt ssna/sport rims. Really wondering what will clear as I cant just mount different size tires on the rims and try them out.

I am stock ride height and dont plan on changing that. I know the problem is the lower spring perch where the tires have trouble fitting. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
