Question Tire and rim fit range

Can we get a sticky that will give the rim and tire size range that will fit on the HHR? Rim width, bolt pattern, offset range and tire size range for each size rim?
I have been trying to find the offset range for a 16" rim and a brief definition of what offset is. I know it's on here so I was trying to figure it out without starting another post. I failed to do so but if we get a sticky for it maybe the next person looking will have an easier time.

Offset is how far off the centerline of the wheel the hub mount is. A positive offset means the hub is farther towards the outside of the car, typically known as a FWD offset, where as a negative would be considered a classic RWD offset. Of course manufacturers are putting high offset wheels on RWD cars now, possibly just to make things a bit more confusing for some. Generally some of the info you're looking for is stamped on the inside of the wheel.

So for FWD it doesn't sit over the wheel right? What is the range on the positive offset?
