I voted for #1, just be prepared to paint your drums and calipers, such open wheels let the world see you brakes in all their glory...or lack thereof.

 

# 1, only because of not being a big fan of web-wheels. Too bad #1 rims don't have a polished rim lip, that would look Sweet !!

& agree with Mike, painting the brakes would add some nice finishing detail..

 

I vote for #2, I like the web design, what to do about the red line, notice how much better the rear looks than the front, nite shade that front marker red, or add a stripe, how about red skunk stripes ?

 

Hmmm...Red front marker = Fix It ticket from Officer Bob, big no no Sam.

Red stripe wheels are now getting to be as common as dirt, at least around here, who wants their HHR looking like every "Riced" Accord/Civic/Elantra/Neon/Eclipse/Talon/WRX/Mazda 3?

Gently poking, with a drill bit, is what I just did to my new bra, so as officer Stadanko, can admire my ugly %$#@&%# plate. Aren't I the compliant one.

 

#2 is the best of the two. I detest black wheels with a passion, they look too much like a black steelie missing a hub cap. Actually, you could get both. Just buy 2 of each.......one style per side.
