Ok, back home, the wheels came in, and low and behold they were the silver finish I originally wanted, so good deal on that. Getting them mounted, OMG....

The guy I bought the wheels from told me nope, he doesn't mess with any TPMS sensors. He'd swap the tires, but not the sensor. OK, so I took it down the street to another tire store, got the same answer, they told me to take it to the dealership. Now I had already done my research, and had bought the valve stems for the car, and still no one would touch them.

I finally went back to work, called around town, finally found someone at least willing to look at them, once he popped the tires, sure enough, easy as pie to remove the screw holding on the sensor, and just as easy to place it back in the aftermarket wheel.

It got dark outside, so I'll have to get pictures up tomorrow..

But gee whiz..ask them to fix a rod knock and they'd be all over it,,,er,, i mean your wallet
And I bet they would even know less about that!
