I love the old school look....

I have to decide what wheel / tire comb are going to look best on HHR #2. MY plan is to go with the steelie look with a outer chrome ring and a baby moon hubcap with the Chevy logo in the center. My budget is the problem. I was looking around a salvage yard and found 3 stock HHR mags, bought them thinking I could find a fourth without a problem. But no fourth has been found yet. So I'm going with the old school look. However, how do I know a steelie will fit the HHR? There are markings stamped in the ones that Cheap Guy who did a great job refinishing them. But I can't read the center stampings.

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction for finding the correct steelie? I'm staying with the stock size wheel with a wider tire. My driveway in the mountains won't take a lowered HHR.

Also, how do I tell the offset of a wheel off of another car? I found a mag that looks exactly like what I took off a HHR but with a 55mm offset, I'm told it is stamped on the inside of one of the five spokes.

Thanks for all the help I've read about here. The list of cars and drawings to show offset.

I’m not aware of any wheels with baby moons from OEM

These wheels are Wheel Vintiques Rally rims with baby moons, they did offer a moon with Chevy bow tie embossed in the centre . These were 16” with a 35 mm offset. Careful with the beauty rings they tended to slide and either fly off or cut the rubber valve stems.

I really like those wheels. They fit in the wheel-well perfectly. I see you are in Phx, we should try to gettogether and talk wheels for sale. I'm looking for 4 real HHR mags. Doug

And YES I was talking about Oldblue's HHR from north of the border. I'll be more attentive next time I'm talking about something I see.

I now have 2 complete sets of wheels that fit my HHR. One 17" and another that is 16". A different designed wheel is each of them. My question is there an advantage to driving on a 16' or a 17" wheel, in a comfort ride or better or worst drivability? I have not decided which wheel I'm going to use, yet. Any food for thought , suggestions either way would be helpful.
