Will these rims fit?

I've never really been into rims so I pretty much know nothing about sizing, fit, etc. However, I would like to spiffy up my new HHR with Chrome wheels. The car is an LS stock with 16" wheels currently. Would the wheels and tires listed below fit my car? And if so how would the size change effect the car's performance/mechanics, if at all?

18" KBA chrome rims with Kumho Ecsta ASX low profile tires.(235/40 R18)

The tires should be ok depending on the backspacing. That is, if it's the right bolt pattern.

245 series might be pushing it depending on the width of the wheel.

rims

The seller of the rims says they are "the universal 5 lug pattern" whatever that means.

Unversal means a lot to different people. It probably has two different bolt patterens. If the seller does not know the bolt pattern, find out what they came off of. We can then look to see what that bolt pattern. The HHR has a 5x110 pattern and it's not a very well used pattern.

Seller probably thinks it fits all 5 lugs.....

From the research I have done on rims, many people advertise rims as HHR rims, but in more than a few cases they include the conversion kit which basically makes ur rims stick out 2 inches further than normal because of the kit. Like he states Universal rims have the two most common bolt patterns for chevy... so im not sure if it will work on a HHR but i just know from experience cause i bought a universal set of rims for my impala that ended up not fitting (amateur mistake) I think everyone will agree be careful when you buy rims if you do not know much about cars cause you can get burned in many different ways... for ex
Bolt pattern
width
warranty (someone posted this a while back)
Brakes (Big rims weigh more)

I dont know a lot about cars but this is just my opinion from my past experience with my impala. I could be wrong.

Better deal

Ok, nix the first set of wheels. I found a better deal on some I like better. So, then will these fit?

18" Tyfun Wheels Model # TW752, Size 18 X 7.5, "Universal Lug Pattern".
The rims came off of a Pontiac G6 car. These tires are some kind of low profile variety.

Thanks all!

Doesn't matter if they are universal, they need to be 5x110 lug pattern to fit with no modification.
