HHR SS vs. BMW 325

While on my way to the park-n-ride this morning a lowered, monza tipped, 325 wanted a piece of the HHR. I was following him for a couple miles on a single lane road when we finally came to a light. Really didn't give it any thought at first, but then he started revving his engine. So as soon as the light turned green it was on. I pretty much had him beat by a car length by the time we hit the other side of the intersection. Just to add salt to injury I made sure I kept on it till about 70mph

Needless to say he fell way back and I didn't see him at any of the following lights

I know this was probably a waste of gas, but I had to represent

Having both cars in the family, the 325 is absolutely no match for the SS. Way down on HP. Handling and brakes on the BMW are pretty outstanding, but can't make up for lack of HP in any practical scenario I can think of.
