HHR vs. Camaro IROC
#11
1985, 155HP (190 or 215 available) 5.0
1986, 190HP 5.0 (this was the 215 previous motor with a new cam, good swap ) or a rare(50) 220HP 5.7 1LE model (stripped)
1987, 195HP 5.0, 225HP 5.7
1988, 195HP 5.0, 225HP 5.7
1989, 230HP 5.0, (only if ordered with duals) 240HP 5.7
1990, 245HP 5.7 1LE
Ironically the 1988 model came stock with 15" wheels, verses the 16" wheels stock on the rest. These varies greatly from year to year. These are what gave perfromance and Chevy a bad name in the 1980's. The Mustang usually kicked the Camaro's (or Firebirds) butt each year. They were finally getting it right at the end.
