[QUOTE=jmarines;370509]My son and I built a eclipse, Talk about respect for the imports... If its built correctly... it will be a blast to drive... Took us about a year to build... had it dynoed and tuned @ 597 Hp at the wheels at F.I.S.T racing here in houston.

jmarines, that's a little bit more than a wing and a fart can

You can't just shun all imports as some that are done right can really fly, it's the average "kid" that adds... well....er.... a fart can and a wing and thinks he has a rocket that has ruined their reputation.
In the past, the imports were the cars that you could buy at a good price and get lot's of power out of them if done properly. Now that GM has the LNF, there is some good American cars that can be modded effectively without breaking the bank.

hasnt crank walked... I shouldnt have a problem with that.. mines auto... crank walk usually happens to sticks. I have toyed about the idea on putting my baby on the bottle... maybe a 70 shot to help with my takeoff and spool time (60 trim turbo takes alot of spool time)but the thing is already fast enough and I just built it to pass the time. I know what u mean by the fart cans... there isnt a day that goes by that some punk kid pulls up to me and revs it up.... my son laughs and gives me the "nod" to rev mine up... as soon as the BOV vents to atmospere they usually back off... but somtime the corvette guys wanna play... then I have to put them in there place.... won sum.... lost sum.... its all about the rush in my opinion...
