extended warranty

I am being offered an extended warranty through the bank I financed with that covers EVERYTHING except maintenance like the 3 36. What do you all think? Should I mess with it?

I would be weary about non OEM warranties. I have read and heard nasty things happening. I would find out if there are any restrictions as far as who can do the repairs, deductible, warranty on workmanship etc. Also find out what company the bank uses for their extended warranty. I bought my 97 F-150 used and got an extended warranty through Ford and never had any problems. But like I said. I have heard some nightmare stories.

I agree with Imagepower. You are probably better off banking $1200 or $1300 and using that "IF" you need a repair.

Thats where I am leaning, plus I kept thinking all along of the fun things that I could do and not worry about warranty issues, save money have fun, right?

We got burned by a non-OEM warranty a few years ago. The company went out of business and we were SOL.
