The knuckle has been known to crack from trying to tighten them. They are dangerous to drive on and your tires will die an early death!

MOOG is wrong on a lot of parts. We went through that a few months ago. They are are just repackagers like every other "brand". I know somebody is going to claim they retired from a MOOG factory, but that was then. Somebody else is going to say they drive by "the MOOG factory" everyday, did they pay to have the sign removed?

MOOG is an office in a large building somewhere with a few other "divisions" of Federal Mogul or United Technologies or whatever company is the center of the shell.

The only good thing is they are so pervasive that their part numbers are nearly universal, but in this case that is not good.

Amazon says that moog # will not fit the SS. I think the other may be an ACDelco part #?, amazon says it does fit. Looks like the GM parts are here: 2009 Chevrolet HHR Hatchback SUSPENSION/FRONT

25930724 & 25930725, which is also in the common part # thread.

But I see what you mean, the retailers are quite confused about the Moog parts
Prothane Suspension Parts: HHR, chevrolet hhr 2009

Most seem to say that CK620301 & CK620302 are what you need, but Moog says that's not right. You probably need to call Moog on the phone and get a clear answer.

When we had this come up before they did actually call MOOG and got the wrong answer, the MOOG online catalog is wrong, eBay vendors that used to have correct info don't anymore.

The problem is if you call them on the phone the person on the other end is looking at the same wrong online catalog that you are. And, they probably have nothing to do with MOOG, just a call center employee.

Wow, that's pretty bad. So then CK620301 & CK620302 are probably the right ones.
