Coasting In Neutral

Coasting In Neutral

Hi All,



Other then the obvious safety concerns. Is it OK to coast in neutral with the 08 HHR 2.4 Automatic transmission? I know that some transmissions need to stay in gear to drive the fluid through. What about towing this vehicle, can it be towed in neutral, or do I need one of those aux. tranny cooler duhickey's?

Chevy says in the manual to tow it w/ all 4 wheel on the ground. turn ign to ACC, put it in neutral and REMOVE FUSE #8 to prevent the battery from draining.
