Traffic light prisms are great investments, I use them on all three HHR's and the Challenger, it saves me (5' 11 3/4" tall) from having to do the "HHR Scrunch" at lights if I'm the first in line.

Traffic light prisms date back to at least the 40's, cars had "Mail Slot" windshields like our HHR's have today, add a windshield visor and upward vision vanishes....folks were smart back in the day.

Except for the "Mail Slot" windshield thing. I'm not complaining, but a little more sweep might have kept rocks from putting so many cracks in the windshield of my old LT. I may get one of those prisms. I was doing the scrunch a bit today.

It totally works - I'm 6'2" and it's one of the best things I've done.

I keep mine off-center of my vision so that I can see the light at the very top of the windshield, or through the prism if it's higher.
(Basically it's stuffed in the upper left corner.)

Only complaint: Driving into the sun!

Actually, anybody ever seen stubby windshield visors?

Those things are huge when folded down...

I put them in boyh HHRs and they work great. i'm 6'3" and have trouble seeing lights without them.

They are a must have for HHRs. Mine is from LightnSight and you just apply to top of windshield but the dash mounts are cool too.
