Found a New Company Making Billet Bow Ties for the HHR.

I found AMI All Sales MFG are making Billet Bow Ties in Polished, Chrome and Black.

They also have solid and out lined.

They are new and I am not sure what companies offer them. I found them available at Summit Racing under the ASM- prefix.

I ordered a set since Street Scene could never get the rear one for me. I will post more info once I get them.

I called the Mfg and they said it takes a week to ship them once the vendor sends in the order. Sounds as if they make them when they get an order.

Might check out ASM web site and you can see what they look like.

They pretty much look like the Street Scene Bow Ties. In stead of offering stain they are offering them in powder coat black. These should look better over the long term than the stick on bow tie covers.

I was going to order black but that would have been too much on black. I went with the Polished to go with my SS wheels.

I just hope the fit is better. I was able to get my Street Scene to fit ok but other struggled. I would just be glad to get the rear one on.

I think retail for a pair was $60.

I get a discount where I work.

As Billet goes that is about the going rate. The Street Scenes were even more.

I really hope these turn out well and give us a option. I saw ASM offers color plastic incerts on some other bow ties. I wish they had them for the HHR. I would have got them in black if I could retain the chrome ring around them.

The nice thing is no more torn up factory emblems and dinged up vinyl overlays. The Billet one I have now from Street Scene has held up very well.
