"How To" Tutorial Library Write tips and instructions on how to install parts or fix problems. This is for detailed "How To's" only, not a forum to ask how to do something. Please post those questions in appropriate forums.

I can see the 4 tabs in the photo, they usually only have tabs where they have mating slots. The license plate mount screws do the rest.

If it bothers you try some weak glue.

Yes, GM thinks it's a "grille". Sometimes a "lower grille". When I had an accident that did not involve the hood in anyway, I had that question.

lol, I just removed that piece the other day form a damaged cover, it just snaps in place with wedge style tabs. I won't be home for a couple days, but I will post pics of it off the cover. I do believe the the cover need to be off to remove it, because of the reinforcement foam will be in the way to get to the upper tabs. There are about 10 or 12 if memory serves me right.

Here are pics of the other side, the bumper cover will need to come off, because the impact foam will be in the way to get at the 7 tabs.

Bumper cover with foam moved for viewing, the tabs go in the slots.
