HHR Models

I have been trying to find HHR models. The only thing I have found is a Johnny Lighting diecast 1/64 scale. I e-mailed Mobius Models and requested they build one. I got an answer back that they would add it to the list. They make models of the 55 Chrysler 300 that just came out, and a 53 Hudson. If anybody wants to contact them and add to the request you can go through their website, MoebiusModels.com and go through the contact us. Maby if they get enough intrest they might make one.
Lets hope.

Sure, I'll add my name to the list, been years since I built a model of anything....but three little HHR's to match the three big ones would be cool.

The J/L diecasts are pretty accurate, I have one of each still in the box, and one silver one that I carefully took apart to change the interior color to ebony so I have a little Paddy-Wagon on my desk.

Yeah, Johnny Lightning is the only Mfg. I know of that makes any. They seem to be a bit pricey too.

There is (was) the Road Ripper HHR. They look to be roughly 1/24 scale. Roughly 6.5" from bumper to bumper and 2 1/4" high. If you find one it will also be pricey like the Johnny Lightning because there both long since out of production. I found a silver Road Ripper body in my nephew's toy box a couple years ago, just the body. I put it on a modified chassis from and old model I had laying around and ended up with this:

Lucky devil you, I've lost out on at least three "Road Ripper HHR's", even though I bid them up to a price that I thought was silly...someone else on e-bay had to have one more than I did.

I keep looking for the Road Ripper HHR @ Goodwill stores. I've found the SSR (two of those) and a PT so far..... But not an HHR yet.

The searching is half the fun, or so they say Greybeard.

Someday, we'll both get our hands on one, elusive dang things that they are.

When I get around to it I'm going to do some mods to the PT and SSR and paint them up... I think the SSR would make a nice Panel....

According to my sister (my nephew's mom) that Road Ripper I have was on a 4 X 4 chassis. Glad I found just the body.....
