It's been a fun ride

Well after nearly 454,00 kilometers it's time to say so long to the HHR and move on to an Equinox. I've enjoyed the forum, especially all the helpful and timely advice when things looked to be going south.

That was a good run for your HHR - drop by and give us your impressions on the Equinox after you get a few miles, er.... kilometers on it. And best of luck with it.

While your HHR has moved on, you're still part of the fsmily here Grimsby, so don't be a stranger OK.

Replaced HHR with newish Equinox

Well it's been a couple of weeks with the new vehicle and I have to say that I like it A LOT. Mileage is actually better than I was getting with the HHR and the ride is way more comfortable. Not nearly as much fun to drive though. Hopefully the this 2.4 I4 lasts as long as the old one.

I wanted something with the same engine. Also needed space for two dogs and a rowing team occasionally so it was Orlando or Equinox. Equinox actually has better highway mileage than the HHR so I'm a happy camper so far. I do miss throwing the HHR around though.

Does the Equinox weigh about the same? it seems quite a bit larger to the eye
