Looking for snow tires
#1
Moved to general hhr from front page news.
I use Bridgestone arctic on my 08. They work very well. One of the main reasons I chose these is because they where the only tire I could find that we're studable for my size.

My friends in Maine and upstate New York swear by Bridgestone Blizzaks, if we ever need snow tires here in Carolina, I'll just be swearing.
But ya never know, it hit -4 degrees in Charlotte this January, and we had five inches of snow too.
Yeah, I know, but us Southerners are helpless below 35 degrees.

Up here in the frozen tundra of the Great White north, I run BFG Avandtage TA's, m and s rated, they have gotten me through deep snow and grabbed on pretty good to the black ice, don't forget it's not the tires that get the job done alone, it's how you use the pedals and the steering wheel also! Drive savely and don't eat that yellow snow! It's not a lemon slushy!
