They look like classics when they rolled out of the factory, that's what attracted me to them in the first place. The incredible versatility was a bonus.

I love these cars. I wish i had one of every color. I think they will be collectable since only made for limited time, with same basic style...

I had a guy driving a Mini-Cooper wave me down at a traffic lite. He asked how i liked the car? Excitedly, he said was trying to buy one, but they were hard to find!

Almost twins, I confirmed with GM that mine was built April 17 , 1987 and was the first extended cab long box built in Oshawa , Ontario Canada. I bought it off the first owner in Dec 1999. This rig was at seven different GM dealers to allow for orders to be taken in May and June 1987 and was shown as both a Chevy and a GMC they just swapped out the grille and the hub caps there were no badges ever on the doors or the tailgate.

IMHO 1. The Silverstreak 2009 SS panel 5speed with the most dealer upgrades
2. all the 5speed panels with the perfpkges. 3. All the 5 speed panels. 4.the Automatic SS 2009 panels if they made any?
5. 5 speed SS with the Perfpkg. 6. 5 speed SS 7. Auto SS.
In this whole group there only around 7,000 made

Well my regrets go to:

1972 Plymouth Valiant slant six, 3 on the floor, black vinyl roof on yellow body. The then OL had a matching Duster with an auto.

1977 Black Cordoba (round headlights)

1968 & 1969 Karmann-Ghias

Notice only one "big" engine, it also had Corinthian leather seats. 400 cid double 4 barrel, I think. It would move!

I believe this Panel SS I just acquired will be a classic and always a collector car and it won't take 30 years either. As we all know only 216 were built. They are hard to find now and getting harder every year.

Go to my gallery to see a couple more photos of my new ride. In order to buy this Panel I had to give my '09 Black Beauty to my wife. I regret that. It has 19,200 miles. No wife will take care of a nice car.
