Plus the 2LT came standard with the 2.4 engine and the FE-3 suspension, along with standard running boards and 17" alloys.
You could get the 2.4 in the 1LT for extra cost, haven't run across too many of them though, and the 1LT came with the FE-1 suspension shared with the LS models...plus 16" alloys.

Beside the "options" that may also be available for the 1LT, the 2LT comes with the FE3 sport suspension (17" wheels, Gas struts and shocks) and it's the only model that you can get this with. (not an option for the 1LT) The 2LT also comes standard with the 2.4L engine, some years this was an optional engine for the 1LT, but I think they dropped that in later years as an option. Leather seats, premium sound system, bright chrome trim package, running boards are also part of the 2LT but can be option deleted.... My 2LT has cloth seating but everything else.

As others have said it has to do with options. 1LT gives you more options than the LS while 2LT gives you more options than both the LS and 1LT. If you would like you can also compare all of the trim levels here.

But some of them aren't options, such as the FE3 suspension. You can't get it on a 1LT or an LS unless you by parts and put them on yourself, and you can't get a 2LT without FE3 It's the only available suspension for the 2LT......
You also can't get a 2LT without the 2.4L engine, option delete down to a 2.2L was not available.
