Replacing Lower Control Arms

Virginia calls mine an SUV. Some parts books list it as a truck, some a car, some an SUV.
I have seen people in VA have "farm use" tags that live in apartment buildings. In Va you just paint "farm use" on the back or buy the tag at Tractor Supply for $2.

States call the HHR whatever they are comfortable with OR they use whatever is easier (or sometimes more costly to tax) but the vehicle for federal purposes is listed as a truck by the manufacturer, which helped with the CAFE numbers on fuel mileage.
But it really depends on what the nature of the inquiry is for. Parts catalogs NOW list it both ways, their call. Insurance companies the same. etc.
If you are interested, you can do a search on this forum. Been discussed a lot during the first 2 model years.

I have removed and pressed in new bushings ,
I used sockets and a bench vice to press out the old bushing and press in the new ones.
It helps to have three hands!

Oh, and new ball joints and the front bushings.
The rear bushing will only cost about $13 the front one is about $10 the ball joint is about $35 + labor time. If your time is free you save about $30 a side.
