Mine (2008 HHR SS) just started acting up today - signals work but won't cancel left or right. I'm not opposed to buying a new switch but I'm curious about turning the spring around as as fix? Why would that work if neither left/right will cancel?

I don't have time to "fix" mine so I just ordered one from Rock auto. Not expensive and took 5 mines to replace....problem solved.

Just ordered one myself from them. If it's indeed broken, either switch or spring, no sense in taking it apart twice. Mine was $30.98 shipped - 5 to 7 buisness days hopefully. The video makes it seem fairly simple - as long as one doesn't break any plastic tabs.
