Hopefully I'm in the right forum for this question!

In my previous GM (Saturn), my dome light had 3 settings - Off, On, Door. Is there a way to change the dome lights so the middle one does not turn on when I open the door?

Check your Owner Manual. There may be a setting in the DIC. I have never even given it a thought.

The only reason I want to shut it off is to help keep my daughter asleep in the morning (I leave before 6 AM). It's a bit easier on my morning commute when she stays asleep

The dome in my '08 has 3 settings - Off, On, Door....Right on the light itself..

I don't think my 2011LT does, it has a total of 3 dome light fixtures with 3 different lights and buttons on at least the front one, maybe on the center one (never looked).

The OP has a 2011, and I can't remember a selector switch on the center light, and mine is back in NC....can't go look at it.

Front seat and back seat and cargo has lights that come on when you open the door, no soft switch in DIC, no hard switch I can see. Front seat and back seat also have 2 reading lights each controlled by buttons on the fixtures.



Had go to the garage fridge for a beverage, anyway.
