P0011 code is back and thats the good news
Just when I thought I had it fixed with new Camshaft Position Solenoids, the CEL came on and threw a P0011 code again. So this past weekend I pull the solenoid and component checked it and bad with a little over a month use. Then I notice metal particles on the screens of the solenoid. Pulled the oil filter and it is full of metal particles. Brought it to the dealer (which I hate to do). They are going to tear it down to the block and see what got ground up tomorrow. It should be covered under the powertrain warrenty, but I can't believe this kind of engine problem at 40,000.

I'll keep you updated on how this one comes out. A new engine may make it worth the hassle of being without the car for a week or two. Although I would have to break it in all over again.

No word yet but I picked up the loaner from Enterpise today, 2011 HHR. No offence to LS & LT owners, but I miss my turbo. This thing has less pickup than mine in limp mode. To make matters worse, when I got it home I noticed it was lubercating my driveway. Last person under the hood forgot to put the oil cap back on (which is one reason I do my own oil changes). I seem to be having a bad week. I hope I get some good news soon on my car.

I'm starting to get all the feelings and kufu in the HHR as I did in the Cobalt, which is why I got rid of it...
Shoulda traded in for a Cobalt SS/TC
