Chevy HHR won't start. Code p0336 + Additional Codes
Check engine light came on in my hhr ss. They are p0650, p0442, and p0496. Any suggestions on how to fix these or what may cause them?

Welcome - Give the search tool at the top of the page and look for the codes - ie: p0650 - which brings up this page will get you started on the diagnostics - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/prob...e-p0650-48939/
(I'm on a rather sporadic wifi here otherwise I'd give a few more links for you)

p0442 could be just the gas cap.
BUT, the combo of P0420 & P0650 indicates a strong probability of a dead catalytic converter. Especially if the light is flashing.
Just to rule things out; check the underhood fuse box #33 & #64.

Chevy hhr won't start. Code p0336
Last Wednesday I was leaving work in my 08 hhr ss when the "engine power reduced" message popped up and my car then shut off and will not start up. I ran my code reader and it reads p0336 crank shafts sensor. Could that be the cause of why the car stopped running? Please help

Yes, as the symptom show in this link
https://www.obd-codes.com/p0336
When the chain breaks the cams are out of sync with the crankshaft, the ECM shuts down the ignition to prevent further damage.
