09 Stage 1 Kit is here

Ok, I just got the Stage 1 Kit and I was trying to find the thread where eveyone was talking about changing the wires on that go in the new sensors. The new Stage 1 Kit I got came with new harnasses. It looks like I am supposed to cut the harnass that is in the car and wire up a new connector for the new sensor. Is this something with the new kits or where you suppossed to do that with the 08 kit also. If anyone has done this just let me know what you did. Thanks for the help!

I hope you know that you need to take it in to the dealer to install if you value your warranty, and that you also need to take it in to have the ECU flashed.

The dealership that is going to install the chip has never done one. The guy that is going to do it asked me to find out some information.

Then you should go to a diff dealer, if they cant install their own parts or get a diagram to do it i would never take my car there again. its kinda like , if they get say, a new Camaro in there to replace the alternator and they say oh we never did that before you better find some info about I would tell them to go !@#$ them selves. you know what i mean?

My dealer told me they had to call in some GMPP reps to do the install even though they are listed as an authorized GMPP installer! lol

Kinsey SS, Thanks for the link.
chadpsuka, it is not that they can't find the diagram, but the guy that is going to install it is a friend of mine and and he is not charging me to do it, I just have to provide all the information for him. As far as going to a different dealership,it would not be very smart as I work at this GM dealership just not in the service department.

No it will not effect my warranty issues, because we both work at the dealership. I am just trying to find the info so he does not have to spend his time looking for it. Just trying to make the install go as painless as possible. Thanks for the help guys.
