I agree with you Sam, sounds like limp mode. I would say boost leak. I'm usually pulling 60 kpa with traction on.

Forget about that car.It has issues. Find another and go for a test ride. If a HHR SS is running right, you will be impressed. Hell, You'll most likely get the
"SS grin" on your face!( SS owners have all had it at one time or another)

The whistle could be a sign of an air leak somewhere between the turbo and intake. This would also explain the low boost pressure. I have had the cracked tube issue, it is quiet common. I would ask the dealer to verify this before moving forward...

Somethings wrong, I noticed a huge difference coming from my cobalt 2.2 L61. I boost about 10 until the RPMS climb higher then it goes to 15.

Thanks guys. Yea I was not impresses at all. I got in the car and was like this is sweet. But after the test drive I said dam it aint much better than my LS. I knew something was up. I work all week but I will go out and test another when I get the chance. I love my LS and what I have done to it. But I think an SS would be a nice addition to have.
