Tom

it all depends where you take it. I struggled through being a dealers first stage kit. After 2 weeks I called around and found another dealer which had done a bunch of them. They had me in and fixed in an hour. Since then no complaints at all. It is like a completely different car now.

I was also wondering about that Dejon kit. it pulls from the engine compartment. I'm afraid that will affect me badly because im in AZ. I hope that the K&N kit will be a plastic one that pulls from the outside air.

I don't think that many (or any) of us had our cars fubared, yes there were a few horror stories about what was charged for the install, but that was from some miscommunication form GMPP. I believe all of that has been straightened out.

Lars,

What was the final verdict on what was wrong with your SS after the install? Mine is still actin up and I'm trying to figure out what's wrong before I take it to another dealer and they tell me that my warranty has been voided due to the drop-in K&N filter I have.

I was looking at Dejon as well. I have their intercooler piping with a greddy bov and love it. I threw a cel but its because of the bov but the car runs like its supposed to. I have a seccondary pipe without a flange just in case the car needs to go to the dealer. But about the intake ill be waiting for something that ducks lower by the fans.

How much would you guys be willing to spend for a show quality peice? Polished piping, enclosed airbox with cone filter drawing air outside the engine bay?

I've got an idea, but it's going to be $$$

whers it the BOV located

I'm new to this Turbo motor where is the BOV located.I found some info that upgrading the spring is just as good.I like the aftermarket bov's but it looks like it better to replace the tube also.I m going to eventually doing that but I'm waiting to afford replacing all the tubes and the intercooller. That takes some bucks.I like the upgrading spring it look easy and that pain in the neck air intake by DEJON that i can't find anyone using it yet.One more question does someone have the problem when your at 35 to 45 mph to motor bogs down when given more gas.
