Anyone else with an auto have Dejon I/C piping

I put the piping on the other day and it's such a tight fit it doesn't really line up that well. I got it on but I didn't like the way it is routed so close to the subframe, cooler lines, and the lower radiator hose. As close as it is to them it still didn't line up with the inlet on the intercooler all that well. It comes close but it seems it sits up higher and at a downward angle, basically preloading it to pop off. Just wanted to see if anyone else with an automatic has the piping installed and see how there's lined up.

I didn't have the Dejon, I had Hahn's IC piping in mine. I didn't have any fitment issues with mine and I installed it myself. Did you check to make sure the couplers were spaced properly? That may be a part of the problem.

This will work better, use Piping Dejon as your keywords for your search...

Everything is spaced out ok there's just no room down by the subframe. It seems to be holding fine and it's not rubbing anything so no big deal, it's just a little angled right where it meets the IC. If I could get it to drop about a half inch it would probably be perfect but it can't go any further due to the subframe. Oh well, as long as it holds I'm ok with it.

Hmmm... Did you try adjusting the intercooler to sit higher or lower to line up? If you're still using the stock intercooler, it does have provisions to sit higher/lower. Try that and see if it'll line up better w/ the hotside pipe.

dejon piping

i had the same problem, the lower pipe bend is not correct. It needs to have a little more angle to meet the intercooler.I pushed it on the best i could and tightened the clamps and it blew off right away.I readjusted it for a comprimise and havent had a problem now.

I thought Ive read here that the auto eng sits a few degrees different then the manual...this would definitly cause a slight alignment problem unles they offer another kit for the auto..........
