i have the spacer but haven't got the meth kit yet....had some things come up.
the pump should be mounted near the tank...so you are using a small tank under the hood or in the fender, mount the pump nearest the tank. if you are using a larger tank and mounting it in the back, then mount the pump near the tank in the back.
i don't know if there is any room behind the bumper or in the fender well with the hhr (i know you can mount one there in a cobalt). i was gonna mount a large tank in the hatch area and mount the pump on the tank (devils own)

i believe you are also supposed to mount the pump within a couple feet from the tank....so i guess that means a rear mount tank too. this is kinda what i ran into when i was about to buy my kit.
here is what i was going to do:
-devils own dvc30 stg 2 kit
-devils own 2.25 gal sumped tank (can mount pump to tank)
-devils own upgraded solenoid
-devils own stainless lines
mount the pump to the tank. remove spare tire and the cover that screws down ontop of it. mount tank in spare tire well. cover with the top thick cover to a stock like look. i measured and it will fit if you remove that bottom cover.
